PHRF vs ORReZ Comparison

2019 NOYC-LPWSA Sala Restaurant & Bar Twilight Racing Series Race #3

For those of you interested in ORReZ, here’s a comparison of the scores from last night’s race for the boats that have an ORReZ rating. The ORReZ team has been doing a write up of the past few Wednesday night races that explain some of the differences in scoring. A link to all three is posted below.

Just to be clear, NOYC is not using these results to officially score races, it’s only meant to act as a comparison of the two rating systems

Have MOAR fun, it’s Sailing Season

It’s sailing season! Opening Regatta. Big Wheel. If you were there, you know it. If you weren’t, you missed a great regatta. WEDNESDAY NIGHT RACING starts in three days, sponsored by Sala, with live music and burgers!!!! Don’t sail? Come out and enjoy the fun and excitement the season brings…

Kryptonite was first in Spinnaker A, Paloma in Spinnaker B, and Koala in Non-Spinnaker on the BIG WHEEL COURSE, the NOYC wheel on the lake with all new marks thanks to Glenn, Rickey, Jay, Riley, and a host of others.

Missed this one? We still have lots of fun to come with two weeks of Mardi Gras Regatta, Chef’s dinners and family activities thru out the racing season. Check out sailing classes for adults and sailing camp for the kids this summer.
