August 14, 2024 Class breaks for spin class have been adjusted:
SPIN A is PHRF lower than 106
SPIN B is PHRF greater than 105
July 15, 2024 Change to SIs and NOR
Due to light air conditions expected within the foreseeable future, NOYC is amending the SIs immediately to extend the TLE time to 45 minutes.
May 27, 2024 Change to SI’s and NOR
Change to General Sailing Instructions. These Instructions also update the WNR NOR which refers to the General Sailing Instructions.
Please note the following change to the NOYC General Sailing Instructions as of May 27, 2024. The Board has added Paragraph 5 to Section 3. Entries, and appears in bold below:
- ENTRIES
- Unless stated otherwise, entry must be made for each regatta separately. Regattas not scheduled to be sailed on consecutive days require an entry for every day of sailing.
- Each entrant shall provide the following: event to be entered; skipper’s name; contact info (phone or email) and yacht club; boat’s make, sail number and name (if visible); and, as applicable, PHRF rating and fleet to be entered.
- Entry shall be made using one of the following methods: on the website at noyc.org, via phone (504) 283-2581, or at the NOYC bar.
- Entry will close 45 minutes prior the first warning signal.
- A boat may not switch classes during a series.
