RULES Racing Rules of Sailing 2005-2008, Prescriptions of US Sailing, Class Rules. The Bastille Day Regatta Sailing Instructions shall govern in the event of conflict. Sailing Instructions will be available at registration.
ENTRIES One Design: Finn’s, J-30, J-22, Melges 32, Melges 24,Flying Scott, R-19, V15, etc.
PHRF: Spinnaker & Non-Spinnaker
* Minimum 3 boats required constituting a class
ADVANCE
REGISTRATION Yachts may register in advance on-line at NOYC.org or by completing the 2007 Bastille Day Registration Form at NOYC prior to the Skipper’s Meeting. Boats registering on-line must pay the Entry Fee prior to the Skipper’s Meeting.
FEES
The entry fee is $15.00. US Sailing members may deduct $5.00 with valid membership.

SCORING The Low-Point scoring system of Appendix A will apply, except a boat’s total score will be the sum of her scores for all races; no score will be excluded
PRIZES Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be awarded for each class and will be presented at the New Orleans Yacht Club Pajama Party on July 14th. The criteria for the Bastille Day Perpetual Trophy will be announced at the Skipper’s Meeting.

my entry in this regatta, I hereby accept all risks and responsibilities of my
yacht and crew’s participation and agree to hold harmless New Orleans Yacht
Club, its officers, employees, committees, organizing bodies and sponsors for
any liabilities out of or in any way connected with such participation. To
the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby waive any rights I may have to sue
the race organizers (organizing authority, race committee, protest committee,
host club, sponsors, or any other organization or official) involved with the
event with respect to personal injury or property damage suffered by myself or
my crew as a result of our participation in this event and hereby release the
