1 Organizing Authority

2 Rules

All races will be governed by the 2009-2012 Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) and the Prescriptions of the United States Sailing Association except where altered by this notice and the Sailing Instructions. Sailing Instructions will be available at registration.

3 Entries

These races are open to all.

PHRF: Spinnaker & Non-Spinnaker

4 Registration

Yachts may register in advance online or by completing the entry form and sending it with payment to NOYC at the above address. Entries made online or by fax or email are acceptable, but shall not be complete until payment has been received on or before April 17, 2010.

5 Fees

US Funds: Cash, Check - Make checks payable to NOYC. The entry fee is $15.00. US Sailing members $10.00 with valid membership.

6 Schedule of Events

7 Number of Races

One race is scheduled.

8 Scoring

The Low-Point scoring system of Appendix A will apply.

9 Prizes

Prizes for 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd will be awarded for each class, 1^st boat to be passed, 1^st boat to pass another, 1st time racer, boat with most 1^st time sailors, boat with most family members will be presented at the Big Wheel Regatta After-Race Party.

10 Racing Area

The racing area will be located on the south shore of Lake Pontchartrain.
