RULES Racing Rules of Sailing 2001-2004, Prescriptions of US Sailing, GYA Rules for Capdevielle Events. The Mardi Gras Regatta Sailing Instructions shall govern in the event of conflict. Sailing instructions will be available at registration.

One Design: E-30, J-22, J-30, Lightning, L-16, Open Flying Scot, R-19, Vanguard 15, Optimist, etc.

PHRF: Spinnaker, Non-Spinnaker, and Cruiser/Racer

*Minimum 4 boats required constituting a class. Class breaks will be announced at the Skipper’s Meeting.

DISCOUNT Pre-register including: completed Registration Form and payment received before Friday January 25, 2002 may deduct $5.00. Mail to the above address.

US Sailing members with valid membership card may deduct $5.00.

Skipper’s Meeting 1015hrs Mandatory

1^ST Warning 1130hrs - other races to follow

Entertainment, Food and Beverage available at the end of racing.

Sunday2/3 Club Opens 0800hrs Coffee and Donuts

1^st Warning 1030hrs – No starts after 1300hrs

Awards As soon as practical

NUMBER of RACES – No Throw-out

GYA Capdevielle – Attempt 3; One Design – Attempt 5; PHRF Spin, Non-Spin and C/R – Attempt 3

SCORING The Low-Point scoring system of Appendix A will apply, except boat’s total score will be the sum of her scores for all races; no score will be excluded.

PENALTIES RRS 44.2 720 Turns penalty will apply.
